Posting from the media center

I can't say this is the first time I've ever watched a debate, mostly because I feel that might draw great amounts of criticism/judgement from anyone who reads this, considering that I am 24 years old.

However, this is the first time that I've really, actively, wanted to be involved in it all. Not the political side, mind you, but the media side.

It is awesome.

Sitting in the media center, which was rather unexciting yesterday, I'm surrounded by a buzz of activity. The whole place has come alive within 24-hours.

There are journalists here from around the world. You can hear accents abounding and lots of chatter. There's a buzz growing as the moment for the debate to begin gets closer and closer.

Being here is an experience that one can't replace. There are so many journalists glued to the television, watching the answers and banter between Vice President Biden and Senator Ryan. The two men are engaged in quite a debate. Certainly more heated than last week, when Obama took on Romney.

Quick wrap-up: the keys are busy again, the candidates have departed their places on stage, and the Spin Alley madness is beginning. Gotta go check that out. Standby for a photo.
